2025 - 2026 Niagara Speed Skating Season
Practice location: Vale Health & Wellness Centre (Rink 2), 550 Elizabeth Street, Port Colborne (MAP)
Cost:
- Recreational/Developing Skate: $560.00
- Advanced/Competitive: $420.00
- Drop-in Rate: $35.00 CDN or $25.00 USD
At this time both Mondays and Fridays have drop-in space available. - Try-it Rate: 3 practices for $100.00 including skates
We still have some space for skaters new to the sport on Mondays. Please spread the word.

NOTE: Season Fees
Ice session(s) above + Skater and Volunteer Association fees (IceReg) + skate rental ($150.)
*Pricing is in Canadian dollars
Dates & Timings
- Advanced Skaters: Fridays starting October 17th (12 sessions)
7:00pm - 8:45pm (arrive by 6:45pm) - Recreational/Developing: Mondays starting November 3rd (16 sessions)
5:15pm - 6:30pm (arrive by 5:00pm)
Please note there is a minimum of 1 adult volunteer registration required for any families with skaters under the age of 18 for safety mat placement please. Kindly add this additional registration to your IceReg cart when registering your skater(s).

2025 - 2026 Winter Registration:
Registration is done in 2 steps.
Step 1. Register with IceReg (SSC/SSO) online and pay the fees using a credit card.
Step 2. Register with NSSC online and pay the fees using:
- E-Transfer payment to NiagaraSpeedSkating@gmail.com OR
- Make cheque payable to Niagara Speed Skating Club OR
- Bring cash to your first practice.
Note: The Club is not set-up to receive membership fees payments using a credit card at this time.

Plan to arrive at your first practice at least 45 minutes prior to ice time in order to allow time for skate fitting and equipment checks.
